I would like to know if you are planning to add to Map Edit the new GPSmapper''s marine features?

I understand that it is a very hard work for you, but it is very complicated for my to use the GPSmapper without the MapEdit.

Yes, support for Marine Charts would be a VERY useful addition to an otherwise great application!

great software it is only for gps on serial port 3, is there a way 5o make it fetch in other serial ports

probably going to purchase it.

I do, however, have one problem which you seem to have answered earlier but by email so I cannot see the answer. When editing a local Finnish trekking map
(my cottage appears in the middle of a lake :) I''ve
noticed everything seems to work ok but the map remains blank when in certain zoomlevels, especially
3 and up. Could you perhaps englighten me as to why
this happens? =)

Hello, this is a nice program. I already have a map in garmin mapsource format. There are the roads on the map, but is not routable. I want to know if i can convert the roads to be routable. If someone could help me...

The evaluation version will not open my image files - they are too large. The message suggests that I register the program. However, I don''t find any information on the size limits of the registered program, so I don''t know whether it will be useful to me or not.

Editing of object (labels, polygons, lines, symbol) colours and parameters would be very nice. Example: Road thickness and colour, colours for buildings etc.

you are doing a pretty good job. I like your program very much, but there is still a question. I own a Garmin GPSMAP 60CS and would like to display Garmin symbol 10 and symbol 181. I can''t find this symbol in Mapedit-Point Symbol list. Which hex-code can I use in Mapedit to display this icon ?

I use the MapEdit for practicing in map editing as a hobby. I also use MapSource, since I own some Garmin GPS.

It would be preferable if during zooming in MapEdit, the map will center at the cursor, like the one in MapSource from Garmin.
